Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak Climbing

Trip Overview:

Mera Peak (6,476m) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and offers a truly exhilarating Himalayan experience. Located in the remote Hinku Valley of the Everest region, Mera Peak provides stunning views of five of the world’s highest mountains: Everest (8,848m), Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga.

This climb is ideal for those with good physical fitness and a strong sense of adventure. Although classified as a non-technical peak, it does require the use of basic mountaineering gear like crampons, harnesses, ice axes, and ropes. Pre-climb training is provided by experienced climbing guides before the summit push.

The trek to Mera Base Camp is an adventurous journey through dense forests, remote Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, and high mountain passes, especially Zatrwa La Pass, which adds to the excitement and challenge of the climb.
