Trip Information:

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal’s most popular and scenic trekking routes. This beautiful journey takes you deep into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, offering stunning views of Annapurna I (8,091m) — the 10th highest mountain in the world — along with Machapuchare (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna.

The trek begins from Pokhara and passes through charming Gurung and Magar villages, terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and river valleys. As you ascend, the landscape transforms into a high alpine wilderness with breathtaking Himalayan panoramas.

Reaching the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) is an unforgettable experience — standing in a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks.

Day 01 :
Arrival in Pokhara
  • Activity: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
  • Altitude: 1,350m / 4,429 ft (assumed based on standard Kathmandu elevation).
  • Details: Airport pickup and check-in for rest and trek preparation.
Day 02 :
Drive to Pokhara
  • Activity: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus.
  • Altitude: 822m / 2,696 ft.
  • Duration: 6-7 hours.
  • Details: Scenic drive through Nepal’s countryside to Pokhara.
Day 03 :
Drive to Ulleri
  • Activity: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri.
  • Altitude: 2,050m / 6,725 ft.
  • Duration: Up to 4 hours.
  • Details: Begin ascent into the Annapurna region, arriving at Ulleri village.
Day 04 :
Trek to Ghorepani
  • Activity: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani.
  • Altitude: 2,880m / 9,449 ft.
  • Duration: 5-6 hours.
  • Details: Moderate trek through forests and villages to Ghorepani.
Day 05 :
Poon Hill Hike and Trek to Tadapani
  • Activity: Early morning hike to Poon Hill, then trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani.
  • Altitude: 3,193m / 10,476 ft (Poon Hill), 2,630m / 8,629 ft (Tadapani).
  • Duration: 5-6 hours.

Day 08 :

Trek to Bamboo

  • Details: Descend through alpine landscapes to the village of Bamboo.
Day 10 :
Trek to Jhinu Danda
  • Activity: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda.

  • Duration: 5-6 hours.
  • Details: Trek to Jhinu Danda, known for its relaxing hot springs.
Day 11 :
Drive to Pokhara
  • Activity: Drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara.
  • Altitude: 822m / 2,697 ft.
  • Duration: 4 hours.
  • Details: Return to Pokhara, enjoying scenic views along the way.
Day 12 :
Drive to Kathmandu
  • Activity: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.
  • Altitude: 1,350m / 4,429 ft (assumed based on standard Kathmandu elevation).
  • Duration: 6-7 hours (assumed based on standard travel time).
  • Details: Final drive back to Kathmandu, concluding the trek.
Day 13 :
Departure
  • Activity: Transfer to Kathmandu airport for departure.
  • Details: Drop-off at the airport for your onward journey.

  • Twin-sharing/double accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara including breakfast (Private room accommodation can be organized at an extra cost)
